Director Nonaka Participates in the 2nd General Meeting of Asian Universities Association

On June 24th, 2016, the 2nd general meeting of Asian Universities Association has proceeded with 8 countries: Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Thailand. Director Susumu Nonaka, Office of International Affairs, Saitama University (SU), joined as a guest for the meeting and made his remarks on the significance of our foreseeable partnership. SU is one of the most active partners of Altai State University (ASU), the host of the event.

Vice rector for international affairs development of ASU Roman I. Raikin expressed his gratitude to the international participants, and he expressed the significance of further development and consolidation of the Association in the Asian region. Prof. Raikin has been in research partnership with SU faculty members for decades in the field of astrophysics.
